PASTOR

Pastor Mark Koch studied engineering at the George Washington University for two years before moving to St. John's College (LCMS) in Winfield, Kansas, where he earned an A.A. Then he transferred to Concordia College (now University) in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he earned his B.A. with majors in Communication and Literature. It was here that he met and married his wife, Carolyn. The Kochs moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where Pastor enrolled at Concordia Theological Seminary and graduated with a M.Div. in 1992 after serving vicarage in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Pastor's first call was to the dual parish of Faith and Trinity Lutheran Churches of Union City and Dyersberg, Tennessee, respectively. In 1997 Pastor accepted a call to Ascension Lutheran Church in Madison, Tennessee. Pastor Koch has also served on the Mission Development Team of the Mid-South District, and for five years was Circuit Counselor for Nashville LCMS congregations. Pastor Koch was installed here at St. Andrew Lutheran Church on July 26, 2008.

Pastor and Carolyn have two children, Andrew and Deborah.

 

 

DIRECTOR, EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

Shatha Razzook is a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. She has a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Mosul University of Iraq. She has 23 years of experience at a Lutheran school as a teacher and Director. Shatha is married and has two daughters.
